News of the siege of Sarajevo resonated around the world. A large number of foreign journalists, photojournalists and videographers come to Sarajevo – their work not only covered the chronology of the war, but influenced the attitude of the public towards the siege of Sarajevo. The exhibition <\/span>Live from Sarajevo: How Foreign Journalists Reported on the Siege<\/span><\/i> was conceived as an integral part of the permanent exhibition <\/span>Besieged Sarajevo<\/span><\/i>. Unlike the exhibition <\/span>Besieged Sarajevo<\/span><\/i>, which talks about the war from the perspective of the citizens of Sarajevo, this exhibition talks about the same topic through the lens of foreign journalists. The exhibition consists of items related to international journalism: cameras, devices used for reporting, and journalists\u2019 personal items that became important museum items in the reconstruction of both individual events and the wider context of the siege. The exhibition consists of two themes: journalists reporting on the siege of Sarajevo and journalists in besieged Sarajevo. What does the siege look like from the perspective of foreign media? What was the infrastructure in which foreign media outlets operated? What stories from besieged Sarajevo were shown to the world? What was the life of foreign journalists like during the war: how did they prepare stories and perform their duties in wartime circumstances? The exhibition <\/span>Live from Sarajevo: How Foreign Journalists Reported on the Siege<\/span><\/i> presents photographs and objects of eminent journalists and reporters, as well as the equipment used to broadcast news on the siege of Sarajevo to the world. This exhibition is conceived as a platform\/open archive presented in the exhibition space – which is updated daily with new material and which is available to the public for research.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
