Through historical sources, minutes and resolutions, transcripts of conversations held at sittings and sessions, from April 1992 until the end of the war, the exhibition shows how, after the declaration of the state of war, the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina assumed a key role in conducting official policy and became the most important institution in the internationally recognized Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first RBiH flag that hung above the main entrance to the Presidency Building is on display at the exhibition, the damage to which shows the extent of the shelling of the building itself. A satellite phone from the museum’s collection is also on exhibit – the Presidency’s only communication with the rest of the world during the first months of the war. The museum was entrusted with a substantial number of documents and items from private archives for their presentation at the exhibition, such as lesser-known photographs of the Presidency Building, documents from peace negotiations, as well as personal memorabilia of members of the Presidency from such meetings. An English copy of the peace agreement signed in Dayton, USA, on the basis of which peace was established in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is presented to the public for the first time, as well as the map with which the delegation of the Republic of Croatia entered these negotiations.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
