Augustin\u010di\u0107, known for his rich artistic body of work in Yugoslavia, gained international recognition by winning numerous competitions for monuments. The sculpture &#8220;Carrying the Wounded&#8221; from the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is just one of several compositions created for various buildings in Yugoslavia with the aim of celebrating the People&#8217;s Liberation Struggle.<\/p>\n<p>The composition consists of three figures. In the foreground, there is a wounded person being carried by two comrades, one on each side, symbolizing the unity and mutual solidarity among participants in the People&#8217;s Liberation Struggle.
