Educations
The History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is accomplished in the field of education. The museum has organized and implemented a wide range of educational activities on a variety of topics for teachers, museum staff, artists, and curators.
The main features of museum education are active engagement, and a dynamic learning through which participants have the opportunity to use and interpret museum materials. Museum programs are designed and implemented together with domestic and international partners from various sectors (academic community, cultural and artistic scene, museum professionals, related heritage institutions, and non-governmental organizations).
The museum often organizes seminars both within an outside of museum spaces. Since 2014, the museum has successfully organized seminars abroad in: Germany, France, Croatia, and Poland. Seminar participants have the opportunity to listen to lectures, participate in discussions, take part in specific activities during seminar workshops, but also visit important memorial sites and museums in Europe.
