“RetroPerspective 70” exhibition opened

On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of the existence and activities of the Association of Artists of Applied Arts and Design of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ULUPUBiH), the exhibition “RetroPerspective 70” was officially opened at the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the preparation of the exhibition, material from the partially preserved archive of ULUPUBIH was used, which was processed by the team of the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in early 2024. Presentation of this valuable material
it not only contributes to the preservation of the association’s history, but also enables a deeper understanding of the issues:
a) How does the political and social context determine the development of art and design in Bosnia and Herzegovina?
b) How do art and design contribute to shaping the apparent reality?
