Eurovizion

Sarajevo was the first stop in the tour of the exhibition Eurovizion. Crossing Stories and Spaces, which explores the current social and political climate in Europe and the idea of European identity. The focus is on the less visible and marginalized geopolitical and cultural spaces, especially in Southeast and Eastern Europe. Artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the production of the exhibition – and the following cities to host the exhibition are Berlin, Novi Sad, Athens, Brussels, Vilnius, Kaliningrad, Varna, Chisinau, Tbilisi, Krakow, and Nicosia. These are sites of diversity that often only play a minor role in many international theoretical discourses and exhibition practices – however they are important hubs of European identity.
The exhibition Eurovizion. Crossing Stories and Spaces was produced by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), an organization for international relations in culture based in Germany, and it was organized in Sarajevo with the support of the Goethe-Institut Bosnia and Herzegovina.
